Volunteer Fix-a-Palooza
March 2024
On March 29, 2024, Dignity in Motion hosted our first ever VOLUNTEER Fix-a-Palooza event. Shout out and thank you to Open Roads Bike Program for once again offering their space, knowledge and tutelage to community members who are gaining skills by learning how to repair and rehab bicycles! Thanks so much to our community volunteers who gave the most valuable gift there is to give, their time, to rehab 7 bikes for our Bikes for the Unhoused Program!
May 1 Fix-a-Palooza a Success!
It was a beautiful afternoon at Bronson Park when 3 organizations came together to repair 12 bikes in 2 hours!
Thanks to generous donors, we were not only able to hold this event, but also gifted 2 individuals with bikes. For the first time ever, we offered free bike helmets!
